Preparing For Your Trip

Our knowledgeable staff can help with any questions you may have and often can help with the planning phase of your trip. It is expected that guests will read the carefully prepared materials that are sent to you. These will/may include packing lists, recommendations for what to wear, bring, and what to expect on your trip, so that you can be ready for your adventure both physically and mentally. Understand that there are inherent risks involved with all outdoor activity, whitewater rafting being no exception. If you have any health or fitness concerns you will discuss those with a medical professional before engaging in a trip.  You should do the research to choose a trip that accurately fits your current level of adventure and ability.  Please read over our Essential Eligibility Criteria.

Please accurately fill out the registration forms, and be upfront with us about any concerns you have, relevant medical history, allergies, or dietary restrictions. You will be expected to sign a Release of Liability waiver when you arrive.

Payment Schedules

Guided Day Trips Deposits and Balance Due

Deposits of $10 per person are required within 48 hours of making your reservation. The remaining balance is due in full 48 hours before the trip date.  A confirmed headcount is required at the time of final payment. There are no refunds after the 48 hour period.

Multi-Day Trips Deposits and Balance Due

When you make a reservation for a multi-day trip we commit to holding those spots for you and often turn others away because of limited space, permits and resources. When making your reservation for an overnight rafting trip know that we have limited flexibility for changes or cancellations.

Deposits of $50 per person are required within 48 hours of making the reservation. The remaining balance is due in full 30 days before the trip start date. Refunds may not be granted for cancellations within the 30 time period, even with medical emergencies, so it is recommended that guests explore travel insurance options.

Large Groups

The payment schedule for large groups (24+) will be customized by group needs but will mostly follow the payment schedule of the Peak Saturday guided trip policy.

Cancellations

To cancel your trip you must contact our office by phone or email. If you email us please verify by phone that the email was received.

Guided Day trips on Peak Saturdays-(Memorial Day thru Labor Day)

If you hold a reservation on a Peak Saturday you may cancel 2 weeks before the trip. Deposits are non-refundable.  If you cancel within the 2 week time period you are responsible for the full amount of the trip balance, UNLESS we can re-book those seats. Then a partial refund will be possible.

Guided Day Trips on Weekdays and Non-Peak Weekends

Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel 48 hours before your trip.  You are responsible for the full amount of the trip after that time period.

Large Groups

Cancellations for large groups (24+) will require 2 week notice for cancellations, and may have non-refundable deposits depending on the other bookings.

Raft and Equipment Rental Payment Schedule and Cancellations

We require a $50 deposit at the time you make your rental reservation. The remaining balance is due the day of your trip. If you hold a reservation on a Peak Saturday your deposit is non-refundable. You are responsible for the full balance if you cancel less than two weeks before your rental date, unless we are able to re-rent those boats.  In that case we will be able to offer a partial refund.

Alterations and Change of Itinerary

There may be times when factors out of our control, such as weather, fluctuating water levels, or the comfort of our guests, will make it necessary for us to alter the trip itinerary or move a trip to a different river.  In the case that we cancel the trip you will be refunded in full.
