White Salmon
Only 1.25 hours from Portland, the Wild & Scenic White Salmon River is located near Bingen, Washington just across the Columbia River from the town of Hood River. This half-day guided trip travels through a beautiful gorge with constant rapids and the thrilling Husum Falls. This run is perfect for experienced rafters and adventurous first-time rafters ages ten and up. Rapids come in quick succession and make for an exciting trip.
Crystal clear spring water, lush riverside scenery, and continuous rapids come together on the White Salmon to make this one of the best whitewater rafting trips in the Pacific Northwest!
Half-day trip
The non-stop rapids, including Grasshopper, Siwash, Corkscrew, Waterspout, Staircase, and Rattlesnake, make this a very busy trip and leave little time for lounging around. We also run the ten-foot waterfall, Husum Falls. It’s always optional and only run at the appropriate flows. We provide life jackets and wetsuits, all boating equipment, and knowledgeable guides.
