Deschutes

The Deschutes River is Oregon’s most popular whitewater rafting destination, and for good reason! Immense basalt cliffs stretch towards sunny skies, the scent of sagebrush and sun-baked blackberries is carried through the canyon on warm air, and osprey soar above the rimrock while you splash your way down the river.

The Deschutes River is ideal for families and first-time rafters, and is an exciting and enjoyable run for the more seasoned rafter.  Our professional and knowledgeable guides will deliver a unique and memorable adventure that is just right for your crew.  Based out of Maupin, Oregon, we offer guided half day, full day and overnight trips.

Half-day trip

The half day rafting trip includes all the highlights of the Lower Deschutes River. This 12 mile trip flows through the town of Maupin and hits the classic rapids Wapinitia, Boxcar and Oak Springs and many more! Between rapids you’ll have a chance to relax and appreciate scenic views of the river canyon, enjoy a refreshing swim, and learn some of the local history. We pack a lot of fun into 3.5 hours!
